Magical Memories...

Ok it is that wonderful day Ihave been looking forward to... Our Disney Linky... I have been looking forward to this day for awhile...

I have many Memories of Disneyland since it seems as though i at least went once a year until i became a cast member, and then when i quit i became an Annual Passholder... It has become a tradition for Matthew and I to spend NYE at DCA I enjoy that time... I think it is a rather Nice Tradition... This picture was taken on NYE 2007/NY2008The picture of DH and Goofy actually was a mistake it was on manual and i didnt realize it and well this is one of my favorite pictures from our WDW trip in 2006... It was one of those extra evening hours... But it has turned out to be one of my favorites...This was from our engagement Shoot... If you can tell which it is kind of hard DH is wearing the Groom ears... And i enjoy our picture with Mickey... This is a layout from our WDW trip in 2002 Matthew Throughly enjoyed this ride (as did I) It is a little primitive... I thought i was being novel with scanning in a picture from a coloring book and using Microsoft paint to paint the picture in... I love the layout... I had it all on this page.... Journeling, slight embelishments... color... you name it... And then my favorite Castle at WDW during the day and at night... it is just gorgeous... You have to eat in the Castle... it is more of the experience factor than anything else... I have so many memories of DL and Disney that it really is hard to pick one... I remember the summer that we spent 3 days at the DL hotel and Krista came with my family and we had a blast... We were tired and Cranky by the end of it all but come on what do you expect of teenagers and being up past 1 am 3 nights in a row... Then there was the time we went for Tennilles birthay, Or even my friend Katies sister Colleen for 16th birthday we took her to eat at the blue bayou... The list goes on and on...

These are pictures from when I met my friend Katie and her Family down at DCA... These are a few of my latest projects... StoryBook Creator Plus -CM

So CM has stuff for us Creative people who like to get our hands dirty... And those who like to keep it more simple and create digitally...I like to use both... Story books are great I made one for my MIL when we came back from WDW... It was so much easier that way... I could just upload photos and add text then upload to CM Photo Center and then print it out and ship this way... Did the same thing when we got back from Seattle for my friends that we visited with... and just had them ship directly to them... That way they have the pictures from our time together... It was easy and quick...
Now you can put together pages this one is a 12x12 I used the paper from Candycane digital package as well as the tag is one of the embellishments from there... I used CK Journaling for the font made it bold... Magical Memories is from the Disney vacation palette (embelishment) then i used shadow on all the pictures as well as a light pink mat... It was simple and easy and was able to get it done in like 10 mins...

second layout i used the Disney pallette... and the embellishments that go with it... I am learning and getting the hang of this again after the whole CDS fiasco from the summer my Storybook Creator hadnt been put back on... Until Sunday... I have been having fun rediscovering the wonderfulness of the digital program...

The great thing is that if you need to make more than 1 of these bad boys you can... and you can either print locally or upload to the CM photo website... Hope you enjoy...

Mickey Shaped album

Ok so I made this album with the CRICUT... Back

Btw do not use glue use some sort of ahesive such as the CM tape runner... The glue makes your paper bubble up see he picture of the back... oh and sorry about the pictures being on thier side... BLOGGER didnt like me when i uploaded this project...
Which i am not finished... Still need to add some sort of binding...
I used the MICKEY & FRIENDS FONT... The tag

I used the extra cardboard left over from my CM sheet protectors
My settings on the EXPRESSION...
the blade was at 6 (until i can get the new blue blade)
Low Speed
High pressure
fit to page (10)
Multi cut
I used the CM DISNEY VACATION paper for the front and back of the albums... to cover the cardboard that was used... I used RED (3), YELLOW (3), WHITE (3) cardstock...

they were 12x12 and they were cut down to 9 1/4 '' card stock cut on CRICUT was the normal settings please see your manuel...

More to come on this once i figure the binding out and when i have the pictures in as well... If you have any suggestions as for binding please leave a comment... all will be much appreciated... Thank you Pin It

Lost!!! Creative Mojo... Reward for any info

Just when I thought that I had lost my Creativity mojo.. I found it... That is right, Where I found it is a mystery... I actually got 2 complete layouts done this weekend. I was so excited... I will post pictures as soon as i can... I had not really created any kind of layout or card in like a few months... I so needed help... Now that I have my Creative Mojo back I am really happy! So Many things have happened and yet so much to do...

Creative memories has come out with a true 12x12 album and paper series. I love that fact. and they have some really cute new Disney stuff... I cant believe all the wonderful things that they have. I am so glad to my creative juices flowing again... here is to many wonderful projects in the near future to do!!!
